From 18 to 20 September will hold in Giulianova, at the Kursaal Congress centre, the final meeting of the NNAP Interreg-Cards/Phare O.A.S.I.S., within which the Arco Adriatico Ionico Association organizes and coordinates a round table on the new  IPA Adriatic programme.

With the begining of the new European planning period 2007 - 2013, the territorial cooperation acquired a central role in the cohesion policy of the European Union. The Italian coastal Provices understood this evolution and decided to choose the closing of a croos border cooperation project as an ideal moment to discuss, compare each other and strenghten relationships between local communities of the two sides of the Adriatic and Ionian seas.

The new IPA Adriatic programme, in fact, between relevant innovations rather than the past neighbourhood programme, foresees the participation of the Ionic coastal areas previously excluded. A lot of important participants will attend  the meeting, such as the Managing Authority of the IPA Adriatic programme, represented by Dr Giovanna Andreola, Presidents of the associated Provinces, representatives of local institutions and local development agencies of Croatia, Albania, Montenegro and Greece.
