On 28th February and 1st March, the General Assembly of Arco Adriatico Ionico will be held in Taranto at the headquarters of the Province (Via Anfiteatro, 4).

On 28th February afternoon, at 15:30, Dr Stefano Formenti of the General Direction Development cooperation, Decentralised cooperation of the Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry, Dr Hechmi Chatmen, Delegate Investments Promotion Agency of Tunisia and His Excellency Consul Brahim Aouam, Republic of Tunisia Consulate will present the project "CAST - Territorial development cooperation". Initiative of support multi-actors to territorial partnership with Mediterranean and Balkans countries for the internationalization of SMEs and local development systems.

The meeting will continue with the intervention of Dr Giovanna Andreola, responsible of the IPA Adriatic Programme's Managing Authority on implementation status and next steps of the programme.

A session dedicated to the explanation of the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between Arco Adriatico Ionico and Arco Latino with the attendance of the two association's representatives will follow.

The last part of the afternoon will be focused on the interventions of representatives of Development Agency of Nova Gorica (Slovenia), Regional Unit of Corfù (Greece), after the recent administrative reform incurred in the country and of the Albanian Municipalities association.

On 1st March morning, at 9:30, a session dedicated only to the associates will be held.
